Building knowledge, skills, and relationships for all.
Spending time in our schools has been the most meaningful part of serving as the Iron County School Board representative for District 7 the past four years.
Our district mission says it well—Iron County School District supports families in developing college and career readiness by building knowledge, skills and relationships for ALL.
The idea of “for all” is something I take very seriously. Like you, our lives have been deeply shaped by the Iron County School District.
Our oldest son had the opportunity to be part of Launch High School in its inaugural year. He also participated in the Aerospace Manufacturing Career Pathway, which brought together our local businesses, Southwest Technical College, and our high schools.
Our middle son attended SUCCESS Academy, an early college high school charter school that partners with our local high schools. He graduated in May 2026, earning his associate degree from SUU through SUCCESS Academy as a high school senior.
Our youngest son is a student at CVMS and has been part of the Chinese Dual Immersion program since 1st grade.
These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the opportunities we have in this district and the responsibility we have to continue building on them.

My priorities for our students
Education isn’t just about academics—it’s about preparing students for life.
